I was trying to come up with a title for this blog post and kept referring to the messages from my friend who made this custom hat in these pictures. He said " the hat is for sale, not on sale." This blog was going to be about the hat and jewelry that I'm wearing and it still is because all of it is for sale, but it made me reflect on somethings...

Let me start with thanking J.Wylie Haile for collaborating with me and who built this custom hat that I'm wearing in these pictures. J. Wylie has years of experience in the western apparel industry with an emphasis on building and shaping hats. This hat is a size 7, 50X beaver, custom made at Biggar Hate Store. The hat was distressed and shape by J Wylie Haile. 3'' snap brim with a teardrop crown and a lamb skin sweatband. Asking $250, this hat would originally be $700. Willing to take reasonable offers. This hat is SO comfortable and would be perfect for Vegas this year-really hard not to keep it for myself.

Second, I would like to thank Turquoise West Co. for decking me out in some of the most

beautiful turquoise and silver pieces I have ever seen and had the pleasure of wearing. Kenzie Stewart is the owner of Turquoise West Co. and turned her love for turquoise and native american style jewelry into a hobby. Kenzie brings unique, quality jewelry from the west and makes it available to those who can't travel to find these amazing pieces. I have personally purchased a pair of earrings (Pictured here) for her and it was such an easy process. I messaged Kenzie on Instagram looking for some solid silver earrings I could wear everyday. I sent her some pictures and she had exactly what I was looking for. She met me in Stephenville with my earrings and did everything to accommodate me. I value experiences, especially when shopping (I've worked in and out of retail for nearly eight years) and great customer service cannot be beat. Kenzie put thought into everything from the turquoise tissue paper to the hand written card she put in the bag with my earrings. She put thought and time into her customer. This speaks volumes about her passion for her business. I love supporting small businesses and I believe it is so important to make those networks because you'll never know if you need them down the road. All these pieces (minus the earrings :) ) are for sale. You can visit Turquoise West Co. Facebook page or Instagram account to get ahold of some of these one of a kind pieces.

On another note- Don't be on sale. When I say that out-loud it sounds kind of funny, but don't sell your self short. Don't market your skills as if they are on sale. You are your best advertisement. Only you fully know what you're capable of. The one piece of advice I could give anyone is not to be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Sometimes trying something new or stepping out of your box can open doors that you'd never expect. Finding that confidence has been a constant struggle for me but as you know, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." I told myself no more second guessing and more hustling. God has provided me with so many gifts, that I don't have time to waste or hesitate putting them to use.
